About Coach Eno
My name is Nathan Ragsdell. In-game, I go by Eno. I have been coaching Overwatch since 2018 and working as a collegiate esports coach and director for 8 years. My approach to coaching is to work from the outside, in. Too often do people find themselves getting bogged down by the massive influx of information to process in a competitive esports environment. I am focused on addressing these challenges and creating individualized methods to compartmentalize and quickly access information.
I peaked at Grandmaster in all ranks and since working full-time as a director for a college esports program I have been able to place in diamond-master rank with consistency to stay involved in a direct way with the game.
I have been running a top 16 esports program since 2021 with multiple nationals finishes in various conferences. Leading a consistently top-performing program, I understand what a championship mindset looks like in esports.
My coaching is not geared at simply increasing rank on the leaderboard. This is a nice addition that will come with time but the growth that is most important is developing skills and readiness to play in a competitive team environment successfully. Divorcing your identity from a rank is one of the first things I will discuss with anyone I start coaching because it will only hinder development to fixate on rank. Rank is a merely tool. Developing skills extends beyond the leaderboard.
